• To help you save money and maximize the life of your hoops, Allied offers replacement outer embroidery hoop rings, hoop adjusting screws & parts - threaded barrel nuts, center spacer springs, etc.

• Allied Grid-Lock 19mm, 23mm & 27mm brass hex-head embroidery hoop adjusting screws are compatible with some other brands of hoops - Tajima, Toyota, etc.

• Allied outer embroidery hoop rings are compatible with many other brands of hoops - Tajima, Toyota, SWF, Happy, ZSK, Ricoma, Highland and other similarly sized hoops.

• Standard Allied Grid-Lock (AGL / AGLC) version outer hoops utilize a center-style adjusting screw. Original Design (AGL) version outer hoops have standard adjusting screws. New Design (AGLC) version outer hoops feature an improved, longer adjusting thumbscrew that provides added hoop opening. Also, the larger, textured head makes turning by hand much easier.

• To confirm compatibility with other hoop brands, measure the outside diameter of your inner hoop (this is easiest done after flipping your hoop over). If the measurement matches the listed size of our Replacement Outer Hoop (ROH), then it should fit. For example, on a "15 cm" hoop, if the outer diameter of your inner hoop measures approximately 15 cm (5.9 in), Allied 15 cm ROHs should be compatible and fit on your hoop. Allied ROHs are NOT compatible with Original (OEM) Barudan and Prodigi hoops.
